Kim Simonsen
A veteran in the industry, Kim started his career in 1971
as a radio announcer, programmer and sales representative
working in small to large markets, including North Dakota,
Florida, Montana and Hawaii. Later, he served as an account
executive in the television industry. He left the station
to become a media advertising consultant where his responsibilities
included securing and servicing a number of local and regional
accounts, and negotiating and purchasing electronic and print
media time/space.
Kim is active in political and civic affairs, having previously served as Mayor of Riverside, N.D., Vice Mayor of Barnesville, MN, President of the Barnesville Booster Club, Chairman of the Barnesville Telephone, Electric and Cable Board, and Chair of Barnesville's Administration Finance Portfolio.
