Northern Hills Federal Credit Union, based in Sturgis, SD engaged H2M to re-brand the credit union and to generate awareness of their loan portfolio. H2M developed a new logo, tag line, business identity material, systemized collateral, exterior signage, website design and has ensured that the new brand encompasses all member touch points. There is a delicate balance with financial institutions to encourage thrift and saving while also encouraging members to borrow.
With this balance in mind, H2M developed a campaign that promoted the PerfectFit Loan by incorporating tasteful humor with the new tag line, “Borrow Smart. Save Smart”. The campaign focus is that there are smart ways to borrow and save. The result was a series of television, radio and print ads that targeted a younger demographic.
